The climate of Lagos is tropical savanna like climate throughout the year. The best time to visit Lagos is between November and May when the temperature is moderate with less rainfall then the rest of the year.

National Museum has the National Theatre which is another gallery which houses most of the modern Nigerian art, Nigerian crafts and African arts. Tafawa Balewa Square is Lagos’ commercial heart and has some of the best monuments. They include the gargantuan horses, memorials for the WW1, WW2 and Civil War victims and the Independence House built in 1963.
